Roofing Site Manager - Social Housing - Manchester & Lancashire

Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 DOE

Location: Manchester and Lancashire patch, suitable for candidates based around Manchester, Wigan, Bolton, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury or surrounding areas

Package: Vehicle or allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, laptop, mobile and uniform

We're recruiting for an experienced Roofing Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering roofing and building works across social housing frameworks in Manchester and Lancashire.

This is a long-term opportunity with secured work and a strong pipeline of projects. The role would suit someone with strong roofing experience who enjoys being hands-on with site delivery, managing teams, driving programmes and maintaining high standards around safety, quality and customer care.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing live roofing works across social housing projects
• Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to programme
• Managing materials, plant, skips and site logistics
• Carrying out daily quality and safety checks
• Producing weekly progress, labour and KPI reports
• Liaising with clients, residents and internal teams

Requirements:

• Proven roofing management or supervisory experience
• Social housing, planned works or refurbishment experience desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• SMSTS, First Aid and CISRS Scaffold Inspection preferred, or willingness to renew
• Strong communication and site management skills
